A shrubby perennial from 1 1/4 - 6 1/2 feet hall. The herb can grow more than 1m in height. Mugwort will grow in light (sandy), medium (loamy), hard (clay) soil. It is important for the soil to be well drained. The soil prefers the following PH / acid levels : - pH of less than 6, Acidic soils - pH between 6 and 8, Neutral soils - pH greater than 8, Basic soils Mugwort prefers either dry or moist soils

Comments Warnings : Mugwort has a long history of use in herbal medicine. It has also been used as a pot herb. It is best to be respected as a medicinal herb and used sparingly as the plant might be poisonous in large doses. Skin contact can cause dermatitis in some people.
