  • Price: $7.00

The plant is hardy to -45c. Native to Western US. Succulent, creeping plants give rise to myriads of yellow flowers sporting characteristic lines of red spots. The plant loves to grow in a cool seep or in the well-watered shade garden. Prefers rather moist places such as damp borders, margins of streams and boggy spot. Grows well in heavy clay soils. Thrives in full sun so long as the soil does not dry out, otherwise it is best grown in partial shade.

Comments Warnings : The leaves of monkeyflower are edible. They are eaten raw or cooked and as a substitute for lettuce. See link for more information: Ref: PFAF.
